Everyday Hostess: Zuly Garcia

By Zuly Garcia

As I organize my closet from my recent move, and everyone sleeps so peacefully, I can not help but think how privileged I am to have a family to be able to serve and love.

It is amazing to think of the influence we as women have in the atmosphere of our homes.

It is in our serving that we release and unleash God’s power in our homes. When we serve our families, we are not just serving our husbands, kids, or family members; we are serving Christ that lives in them. We need to change our mindset regarding our roles as women, wives, mothers, daughters and sisters.  God has entrusted and graced us with the ability to set the spiritual and physical climate of our homes. As we shift our perspective and see that we are serving Christ, then change begins to happen.

We need to RISE UP & SHAKE ourselves off.

I have seen and heard of an overwhelming amount of women suffering from depression and self identity issues. Women struggling with who they are and their value in this world and generation. Women who, day in and day out, are giving their all; yet are still feeling useless and like they are not going anywhere.

I admit, I too have been there many times.

But the Lord wants to remind you that you are valuable and your worth is like none other!  Rise up woman of God and shake yourself off . You are beautifully and wonderfully made and none can compare to YOU!

Zuly Garcia was born in the Windy City of Chicago, IL. She moved to the Sunshine State 19 years ago, where she met and married her best friend, Chris Garcia. They have 3 beautiful children ages 10, 3, and 4 months old.

“At the age of 10, I made the greatest decision of her life and accepted Jesus into my heart and since then, I have never been the same.”
